What is tallow?

We use 100% beef suet beef suet, which is the raw fat surrounding the kidneys and loins of cattle. Our tallow is shelf-stable for up to 6 months when stored properly. No refrigeration is needed, but you can refrigerate to extend freshness.
How do I store tallow?

Can I use it on my skin?
Yes, you can use our cooking tallow on your skin — it's natural and nourishing. However, for better spreadability and a more purified, scent-neutral version, we recommend using our whipped tallow cream, which are specifically made for skincare.
